The Turin Giants Bring In Ex- Italy Boss Luciano Spalletti
The Serie A powerhouse have chosen former Azzurri boss the veteran manager as their manager for the rest of the term.
The experienced coach replaces Igor Tudor, who was dismissed after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio on Sunday.
The former boss came on board in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but departed after seven months after an eight-game winless streak.
Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022-23 then moving on to lead the Italian national team, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.
He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 exiting in the last 16 stage against Switzerland.
Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June following a loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying, putting Italy in danger of missing a third straight World Cup.
Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.
Massimo Brambilla served as interim manager for Juventus for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday moving them to seventh position in the league - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.
Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
